Sabine and her companion, originally from the South of France, bought a house in Lille. They had a real crush on an old factory renovated into housing. But as is often the case, these old buildings have thick walls and narrow windows. Discover how Espaciel brought in natural light :
Last year, my partner and I bought our home in Lille. We were looking for a place that was practical, well located and with character. Very attracted by the old factory buildings, we quickly found our ideal duplex. Here it is common to see old factories converted into housing. The Lille region has a strong industrial past. We fell in love with it.
Originally from the South, we were used to sunny days. In Lille, it’s the opposite. Most of the time, our duplex was dark because of the grey sky, almost daily. This lack of natural light was affecting our morale and well-being. In conclusion, we quickly needed a solution to find our favourite place.
It was while listening to Eric Brunet’s column on RMC that I discovered Espaciel. I was intrigued by this Light Reflector System. I then asked for a personal advice on the site. The next day, a lighting consultant called me to find out my configuration.

In my configuration, the Wall Reflector was well suited. So, to double my natural light gain, I decided to go with two Wall Reflectors per window. Our apartment was located in a former industrial warehouse. The thick walls and narrow windows (60 cm) prevented light from entering. Since the installation of the Espaciel Reflectors, our apartment is much brighter.

I received the order and it was on time and the pills work great. Not really a do-it-yourselfer at heart, my spouse and I decided to take the installation service that Espaciel offers. We were delighted with this service. Fast and efficient, within two hours the 4 Light Reflectors were installed. In addition, we could immediately see the gain in natural light in our duplex.
Today, I am in harmony with my inner self. With or without sun, it is luminous all day long. I am therefore delighted to have fitted my windows with vertical and horizontal reflectors. The combination of two Espaciel Reflectors per window doubled the effect in natural light.

First of all, I would like to thank the Espaciel team, and especially the lighting consultants. Everything was perfect, from advice to ordering and from delivery to installation. I have nothing to say. My home is now bright all year round.
