How can you light your home when the windows overlook a narrow street?

Jean-Luc lives in Issy-les-Moulineaux, a commune in the Ile-de-France region, which has been modernized in recent years with new, completely renovated districts. He lives in an apartment on the 2nd floor overlooking a rather narrow street. Despite its south-western exposure, the sun does not enter its interior.

Discover how Jean-Luc naturally illuminates his living room with the Balcony Reflector.

Configuration and envisaged solutions

Jean-Luc came up with the idea of putting mirrors in the recess of his windows to gain more light in his living room. The effect was there, but he had a problem with the permanent attachment of the mirrors to the outside. After some research he discovered the Espacial Light Reflector. This new product is much more efficient than a simple mirror: unbreakable, 5 times lighter and 30% more reflective. He then contacts Espaciel and opts for 2 Balcony Reflectors 35x80cm.

2 weeks after validation of his order, Jean-Luc receives the Espaciel Reflectors at his home. He finds the explanations very clear and carries out the assembly himself without difficulty. He installs them outside on the window railing overlooking the narrow street of his building. Jean-Luc immediately notices the effect in his interior.

“It’s a quality product.”

Redirect the sun’s rays into your interior

The Balcony Reflector allows you to capture the brightness of the sky and/or the sun’s rays and redirect them directly into your home. Jean-Luc’s openings open onto a narrow street where the sun is not very present, despite a south-western exposure. The Espaciel Reflectors amplify the natural luminosity. When the sun is present, the Reflectors redirect it into the apartment.

Jean-Luc’s living room used to be dark, now it’s much brighter. He notices that the sun’s rays are redirected into his living room, all the way to the back of the room. He is delighted with the result.

“The sun comes into my house a lot more, especially in the middle of the day. The Espaciel Reflectors shine very far and it’s very pleasant.”
